Living for Living Dining Week!

Every week is big on The Block, but last week was a monster as the teams tackled their biggest spaces yet!

Kirsty & Jesse

H1 Rm8 Living _ Dining Ronnie _ Georgia-035

Ronnie & Georgia used their gnome to continue their winning streak. We loved their elegant and cohesive design, which included a continuation of the herringbone flooring, along with the same scalloped wall treatment as the bedroom. Their huge dining table was nestled into a nook underneath the mezzanine.

Facing many challenges, but producing a great result with an adventurous design, this was the big week for controversial couple Tanya & Vito. The colourful duo shared the tied win with their spectacular game-changing sunken lounge, which fills half their living space. We loved their PGH Brick-tiled fireplace too.

Twins Josh & Luke continue to establish a strong and dramatic look, although we are still deciding what we think about their two feature walls – one of Venetian plaster in the living space plus a navy feature wall in the dining room.  However, we were definitely impressed by the custom-made Christian Cole oak dining table to match their kitchen bench.

H5 Rm8 Living _ Dining Kirsty _ Jesse-010

Country couple Kirsty & Jesse continued their successful Hamptons theme in their living space, which included a high raked ceiling with exposed rafters. They separated dining and living areas with a spectacular fireplace combined with built-in cabinetry. A great space that matched their winning kitchen!

H2 Rm8 Living _ Dining Mitch _ Mark-097

Mitch & Mark continued with their stylish and consistent aesthetic. We loved the oak herringbone floors with gold detailing as their trademark bling, as well as the soft blues and greens in the styling. However, the star attraction for us was the high cathedral ceiling using Gyprock’s Supaceil – so good!
